NAPAS and VNPAY Sign Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement to Expand the Digital Ecosystem
On February 11, 2026, the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS) and Vietnam Payment Solution Joint Stock Company (VNPAY) signed a Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement aimed at developing the digital payment ecosystem. Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly implement various cooperation initiatives, with a strong focus on cross-border QR code payment services (VIETQRGlobal).

Ho Chi Minh City’s Public Transport Modernized with NAPAS Contactless Card Payments
September 16, 2025 – The National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS), in partnership with Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) and the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center, has officially launched contactless payments using NAPAS cards across the city’s bus network. Passengers can now pay fares quickly and conveniently with just a single “tap-to-pay” on every journey.
