What is the VCCS
On October 5th, 2018, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) officially published 10 local Standards (TCCS) covering the technical requirements for domestic chip payment cards in Vietnam. In order to facilitate the implementation with member organizations, as well as products and service providers, NAPAS has inherited SBV’s basic standards (TCCS) and issued specifications for domestic chip payment cards of NAPAS - the Vietnam Domestic Chip-based Payment Card Specifications (VCCS). VCCS issued by NAPAS will fully comply with the SBV’s Basic standards (TCCS) and add technical specifications for participant (member organizations/ card vendors/ card acceptance device vendors/card personalization bureau) to deploy specific products.

Bộ tiêu chuẩn khác là gì?
Ngày 05/10/2018, Ngân hàng Nhà nước Việt Nam (NHNN) đã chính thức ban hành 10 Tiêu chuẩn cơ sở (TCCS) bao gồm các nội dung về Các yêu cầu kỹ thuật thẻ thanh toán nội địa công nghệ chip tại Việt Nam. Trên cơ sở đó để thuận tiện cho việc triển khai với các Tổ chức thành viên (TCTV), cũng như các nhà cung cấp sản phẩm và dịch vụ liên quan, NAPAS đã kế thừa TCCS của NHNN và ban hành Bộ tiêu chuẩn thẻ chip nội địa VCCS của NAPAS. Bộ tiêu chuẩn VCCS do NAPAS ban hành sẽ hoàn toàn tuân thủ theo TCCS của NHNN và bổ sung thêm các đặc tả kỹ thuật để các Đơn vị xin cấp chứng nhận (TCTV / các hãng sản xuất thẻ / các hãng sản xuất thiết bị chấp nhận thẻ / trung tâm cá thể hóa thẻ) có thể triển khai các sản phẩm cụ thể.
