CASHLESS Day

The “Cashless Day 2022” event was organized by Tuoi Tre News, in coordination with the Payment Department, the Communication Department of the State Bank of Vietnam and the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam. The annual event was held for the 4th time with various promotion activities for new payment products and services that participants could take part in, in order to implement the Government’s Cashless Payment Project and contribute to the realization of the National Digital Transformation strategy. The Cashless Day 2022 includes activities: 1. Press conference; 2. The “Digital transformation towards a cashless society” conference; 3. The Cashless drive from North to South; 4. The Cashless market at Linh Trung and Tân Thuận export processing zones. The activities attracted attention of high-ranking officials from the Government, the State Bank of Vietnam, Ministries, Departments as well as top specialists and corporations of the country. All of which participated in communication activities in order to spread positive messages about the benefits of digital payment for the people as well as solutions to encourage cashless payment in Vietnam.
During the four years of the “Cashless Day” program, NAPAS has always cooperated and introduced modern, advanced payment technologies, therefore exerting our role as the financial switching unit for the national payment system, connecting and providing new payment methods. Contributes towards the progress of Digital transformation in order to improve living quality of the people, especially in rural, remote areas.
