In order to encourage people to experience quick and easy payment via NAPAS cards when working or travelling in Korea, National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS) cooperates with BC Card Company to extend the promotion program “NAPAS: Your ticket to discovering Korea’s hidden gems” from October 15, 2023 to the end of December 20, 2023 or until the budget runs out, whichever comes first.
Specifically, customers who are NAPAS cardholders of 11 banks including: TPBank, Bac A Bank, Bao Viet Bank, Co-opBank, LPBank, MAFC, OCB, Saigonbank, SHB, VIB and BVBank will be refunded 50% for transactions with a minimum invoice of 100,000 VND and the refund amount is up to 1 million VND. There is no limit to the number of promotional applications per NAPAS card.
The program "NAPAS: Your ticket to discovering Korea’s hidden gems" has been jointly implemented by NAPAS since October 2022. This is the second time the program has been further extended to meet the interest and needs of a large number of Vietnamese tourists when spending and paying by NAPAS cards at payment acceptance points of BC Card's network in Korea. The strengthening of the incentive program for spending and paying through NAPAS cards in Korea aims to introduce a convenient, simple and fast payment method for customers when traveling or working abroad, replacing the habit of exchanging foreign currency. Using NAPAS card payments will provide customers with easy payment experiences and access to various incentives and promotions from NAPAS, banks and collaborators, contributing to the promotion of a cashless payment culture among the populace and encouraging the use of card payments in particular.
NAPAS cards are contactless chip payment cards issued by banks and financial companies. NAPAS card products currently deployed on the market include prepaid cards, debit cards, domestic credit cards and combo cards which are integrated with debit and credit functions on the same physical card.
Through expansion and strengthened international collaborations, NAPAS cards now enable payments when shopping in Korea and conducting ATM transactions in countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and more. This contributes to enhancing a diverse and boundary-free card payment ecosystem, providing numerous benefits and conveniences for users.
