On September 24, 2024, the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS) - Saigontourist Travel Service Company Limited - Tuoi Tre News held a signing ceremony for the cooperation program to support and promote NAPAS card spending in Korea.
The cooperation program between 3 units aims to promote the tourism between Vietnam and Korea, NAPAS cooperates with Saigontourist Travel to exchange and implement effective marketing activitie, to promote cashless payment, support tourism development between the two countries.
Through Saigontourist Travel, NAPAS cards are introduced directly to Vietnamese tourists traveling to Korea for promoting and encouraging the use of NAPAS cards to pay for goods, food, entertainment, etc. at POSs belonging to the BC Card system throughout Korea. This not only brings many practical benefits to tourists in particular, but also promotes the development of the tourism industry and cashless payments in general, contributing to the national digital transformation according to the Prime Minister’s Decision.
The cooperation program aims to promote the tourism and cross-border payments between Saigontourist Travel and NAPAS, which is widely communicated in the Tuoi Tre News ecosystem, ensuring that all readers and people can access the information, use the service, and interact with the program. In 2024, under the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tuoi Tre News in collaboration with Saigontourist Group will organize the event "Vietnam Pho Festival 2024" in Korea.
