On the afternoon of December 29, 2023, National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS) collaborated with the Communication Department of the State Bank of Vietnam to orchestrate a financial education program titled "Understanding Currency for Mitigating Challenges" at Fansipan School in Thanh Hoa City.

The event garnered the participation of representatives from the SBV Communication Department, the Leadership Board of Fansipan School, NAPAS representatives, several commercial banks, and local newspapers and media agencies in Thanh Hoa. Additionally, the program attracted nearly 300 students and parents from the school.

During the program, NAPAS representatives elucidated prevalent electronic payment methods, such as payments utilizing the VietQR code and various NAPAS card types. Furthermore, insights were shared on contemporary payment solutions and emerging trends in the payment landscape. The aim was to enhance students' comprehension of the advantages associated with non-cash transactions and to impart foundational payment skills and knowledge at an early stage. This initiative contributed to the cultivation of prudent payment habits among the younger demographic, fostering financial literacy for the future.
