Recently, the VietQRCash service has been officially launched by NAPAS in coordination with the first 8 banks on August 7, 2023. Then, ACB is one of the active member organizations of NAPAS that has soon completed the implementation of this convenient service to customers.

Accordingly, customers can withdraw money from ACB ATM system by using the VietQR code simply, quickly, securely, safely and limit risks when using physical cards. Currently, the number of ACB ATMs accepting VietQRCash transactions reaches nearly 1,000 nationwide, bringing the convenience and speed to customers when they need to conduct interbank cash withdrawals by VietQR code scanning method. Transaction limits and fee of VietQRCash service align with the current regulations for ATM withdrawal transactions on ACB ATMs by using NAPAS cards.

The VietQR standard implemented by NAPAS was first launched in June 2021. Accordingly, VietQR is built on the basic set of QR Code standards issued by the State Bank of Vietnam for application to the entire market, in order for switching connection for payment transactions and money transfer using QR codes between banks, payment intermediary service providers through the NAPAS system.

The implementation of VietQRCash service is part of the roadmap to gradually modernize and digitize banking services in general as well as contribute to expanding features, promoting transactions, increasing utilities and collecting service fees on the automated trading machine channel.

Procedures for conducting the interbank withdrawal transaction via an ATM using VietQR code:

Step 1: Select the WITHDRAW BY VIETQR feature on ACB ATM screen;

Step 2: Use the Mobile Banking application of Issuing bank to scan the VietQR code displayed on ACB ATM, then select the card to withdraw money and enter the transaction amount on the application. (*);

(Customers can enter an amount they want to withdraw on ACB ATM in case they do not enter it on the mobile banking.)

Step 3: Enter the PIN of card on ACB ATM;

Step 4: Receive the money, end the transaction.
