To offer impactful digital payment experiences, NAPAS orchestrated compelling activities aimed at drawing a substantial student audience to its booth during the inaugural day of the Wave Festival – Vietnam Card Day 2023. The event unfolded last night (October 6) at the Hanoi National University of Education's playground located at 136 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi.
Following his initial encounter with Tap to Phone payment at the NAPAS booth, Trong Duc, a third-year student at Foreign Trade University, enthusiastically expressed, "Cashless payment is now widely embraced for its convenience and speed. Yet, it was only when I participated here that I experimented with tapping my chip card on my phone. The experience was remarkably surprising and invigorating. The program holds considerable appeal for students like us."

As an annual program organized by Tien Phong newspaper in collaboration with NAPAS, Vietnam Card Day has contributed to promote new payment methods and develop cashless payments in Vietnam. In the opening program of the Wave Festival event, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh - General Director of NAPAS also commented that this year's Song Festival event would be the largest digital payment event ever with the participation of big banks, Fintech companies and many reputable brands in technology, education, FnB, and etc… During the 3-day event, young people will directly experience the latest, most innovative and modern forms of payment such as contactless chip cards, VietQR, Tap to phone, etc.
Thousands of attractive gifts for young people at the NAPAS booth
In order to enhance knowledge about payment products and services for young people, NAPAS will organize many interactive games at the booth such as: Learn product and service, Quick Hands, Quick Eyes to generate VietQR codes, Hit it off , Catch the word.
Furthermore, students will receive personalized keychains featuring their VietQR codes and have the opportunity to take instant photos and check in at the NAPAS booth to receive gifts. Noteworthy offerings for students encompass handbags adorned with VietQR codes, cross-body bags featuring the Rabbit character of Card Day, multi-functional handheld umbrellas with integrated flashlights, and teddy bear stomach bags, distributed throughout the event.
Importantly, all proceeds generated from booth activities by NAPAS will be directed towards the Vietnam Card Day Charity Fund, aiming to provide support to children facing challenging circumstances in remote and distant islands.

During the Wave Festival event, NAPAS will coordinate with Tien Phong newspaper to organize a Lottery program with a total value of gifts up to nearly 200 million VND for young people participating in the program. The prize structure includes:

"The Lottery program" program with many valuable gifts when attending the Wave Festival event
Between October 7 and October 10, 2023, customers utilizing NAPAS card payments via POS, Tap to Phone, or VietQR during the Wave Festival event will receive ten lottery tickets at the store's check-in area. These tickets, containing personal information, are to be retained by customers, with one section submitted to the NAPAS booth for inclusion in the ballot box for the subsequent lucky draw. NAPAS, in collaboration with Tien Phong Newspaper, will collate the lottery tickets during the working days of October 9 and 10, culminating in the lucky draw at 9:10 a.m. on October 11.
By 4:11 p.m. on October 11, the draw results will be publicly disclosed on the Vietnam Card Day Facebook page, NAPAS fan page, and the Vietnam Card Day website. The organizing committee will initiate contact with customers, seeking feedback within the subsequent two working days (October 11 and October 12, 2023) to validate prize announcements. The award ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on October 13 at the Tien Phong Newspaper Building, 30 Ho Xuan Huong, Nguyen Du Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi, Vietnam.
