Ms. N.T.D from Quang Ngai received her 5th drug infusion and promptly availed herself of the opportunity for hair donation upon notification by the Social Work Department. Displaying emotional gratitude, she expressed, "Thanks so much for the program. I've wanted a new hairstyle but couldn't afford it. Now, being presented with one, there is nothing more precious for me". After trying on and having her hair expertly trimmed, she carefully packed the hair accessories into a box for her and her daughter before catching the evening bus home.

Ms. Hoang Yen, Head of the Hair Library project at the Breast Cancer Network Vietnam, underscored the profound significance of a new set of hair for patients. It aided in alleviating their sense of inferiority and facilitates their return to normalcy, shielding them from inquisitive or sympathetic gazes from others.
